Home Visitor: The Home Visitors are the primary connection with the Early Educators and Acre.They must be bi-lingual and have a minimum of an Associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field. Experience working with young children is essential.

The responsibilities include:

1. Visiting Educators twice a month to offer technical assistance and support (Person must have car)
2. Work with other childcare department staff to maintain customer service and quality care.
3. Provide training and curriculum development opportunities for Educators, both individually and in group meetings.
4. Support providers, parents and staff in problem solving.

Bus Driver Position: Acre Family Child Care has a position available for the Best School Bus Driver in Lowell. Candidates must be fully licensed school bus drivers with a current school bus certificate from  MA. DPU. Candidates should have verifiable professional  experience, a clean driving record, be able to pass a criminal history record check, and a pre-employment drug screen. Candidates must be well organized, have good verbal and written skills, and be able to work effectively with a very diverse population. The right candidate will be computer literate. Our school bus drivers manage the maintenance program for their buses. They manage their routes. They utilize social service skills routinely. Our drivers are team players. Our school bus drivers participate in all aspects of agency activities. This is so much more than a job; it’s an experience. Bi-lingual candidates should consider this position.
